These Blue & Pink Chia Puddings are refreshing and colourful deserts that are perfect for breakfast. Top up your desert with Greek yoghurt and frozen berries, add any yoghurt or fruit you like or have them plain – these puddings are delicious however you serve them. For some extra sweetness or richness, you can add nut butters, seeds or chocolate – there are so many toppings that go with this desert!
You don’t have to use coloured super-food powders if you don’t want as they don’t actually contribute to taste but these vibrant colours look so beautiful and are so much fun I couldn’t resist it. I used natural coloured powders like blue spirulina powder and pink pitaya powder for the best results both visually and for healthy eating.
My Blue & Pink Chia Puddings are made with almond milk (or coconut milk) so they’re suitable for vegans too. If you’re looking to make your almond milk from scratch for a truly homemade recipe, my homemade almond milk is a super simple one to follow.
