These Chai & Turmeric Chia Puddings are filling, nourishing and delicious – an excellent vegan breakfast for the sweet tooth! These chia pudding cups are high in protein with about 7g of protein per 3 tbsp chia seeds in each glass.
The yellow glass is a blend of turmeric and the brown one is a blend of chai. I must admit that the chai chia pudding was my favourite! Make two different flavoured desserts with this two-in-one recipe for Chai & Turmeric Chia Puddings.
A Little on Turmeric
Turmeric powder contains curcumin, an active powerful anti-inflammatory & antioxidant ingredient. Although the curcumin content in turmeric is low, this is still an easily accessible spice.
Without getting too technical, curcumin really helps inflammation and stimulates the body’s own antioxidant defenders. Many studies have shown that turmeric boosts the immune system.
It’s very easy to incorporate turmeric into your diet through your cooking, in the form of teas, lattes, and chia puddings. This turmeric spice chia pudding is a great way of getting a little turmeric into your diet whilst enjoying a delicious treat.
