Make this soft, fluffy homemade instant naan at home in minutes! No yeast, no oven needed! This homemade instant naan recipe is made with oat flour, self-raising flour, and creamy yogurt for a wholesome twist on the classic Indian flatbread. Perfect for pairing with curries, hummus, or soups, this quick tawa naan is light, healthy, and full of flavor. Top it with black sesame seeds, fresh coriander, and a brush of ghee or vegan butter for that authentic restaurant-style finish.

In a bowl, sift oat flour, self-raising flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking paper.
Add the avocado oil and yoghurt gradually by pinching the flour and the yoghurt together to form a dough. If too dry, add a splash of water at a time and mix.
Once you achieve the desired dough, coat it with 1 tsp avocado oil. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 1 hour or longer.
Once rested, take a small piece of dough and roll it out using a wooden roller to start making into the homemade instant naan.
Sprinkle with black seeds and chopped coriander.
Roll again to press down and flatten the topping.
Heat the pan. Generously coat the bottom of the naan with water then place on the pan.
Once the naan starts to bubble, flip the pan and keep it close to the heat until it browns and also bubbles.
Turnover and brush with vegan ghee or melted butter.
