Who knew this Kale Twaffles (Quick, Savory & Healthy Toast Waffles) could taste this good and done quickly in a waffle maker? These Kale Twaffles are the ultimate 15-minute healthy breakfast or quick snack – crispy, high-fiber and secretly packed with nutrient-rich kale!
Pairing them with a drizzle of dark chocolate sounds unexpected, but trust me, dark chocolate and kale are a match made in food heaven. 🍫✨

Start your waffle maker so it heats up well.
Blend the kale leaves separated from the stems, with 2 eggs in a blender.
Pour the blend into a deep dish and some milk into another.
Sprinkle some salt and whisk in the 3rd egg into the kale-egg blend.
Spray the waffle plates with butter spray or preferred oil spray.
Dip the bread slices in milk coating both sides, then dip them in the egg mix coating each side well.
(Note: You may need to dip and turn a few times.)
Make sure the waffle plates are very hot before placing the dipped bread slices on the greased surface.
Monitor the slices after a few minutes to make sure they don’t burn.
Enjoy hot with a drizzle of dark chocolate sauce or any preferred topping. Dark chocolate goes well with kale.
