Quinoa Choc-Nib Cookies

Quinoa Choc-Nib Cookies

Make your own Quinoa Choc-Nib Cookies with a super easy recipe using quinoa flour (or, if you prefer, any flour and coconut sugar or caster). This is a super fun recipe that the whole family can get involved in. Baking is a brilliant activity to get all the kids involved in, especially if it’s baking these chocolate nib cookies.

Baking isn’t only fun, it can also be a great way to perfect certain skills like:

  • Measuring
  • Weighing
  • Counting
  • Steadiness
  • Hand control
  • Engaging the senses, taste, smell, sight, touch

The most difficult part might just be letting the kids make a mess with sugar, flour and butter everywhere! These cookies were decoarted with chocolate chips, but you can really have fun with the decorating process and add whatever decorations you like.

Why Quinoa Flour?

Quinoa flour is a great alternative to plain flour if you’re looking to make a gluten free recipe. It’s highly versatile and can be used in a range of baking recipes, from sweet to savoury, desserts to breads. I used Amisa Organic Gluten Free Quinoa Flour for the tastiest Quinoa Choc-Nib Cookies!
