Vegan Crispy Tofu Fingers

Ingredients
 450 g extra firm tofu
 ½ cup corn flour
 ¼ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp ground black pepper
 ¼ tsp paprika powder
 ½ cup almond milk
 ¼ cup chopped roasted hazelnuts or sliced pistachios or sliced/chopped almondsyou can also use rolled oats, ground flaxseed or breadcrumbs to coat your fingers
 1 tbsp sesame oil
 Green-Nut Butter Sauce(optional, but highly recommended!)
Method
1

Using kitchen paper, pat dry some firm tofu

Slice your firm Tofu Block

Pat dry again

Cut your tofu into fingers

Pat dry again

In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup corn flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper and 1/4 tsp paprika powder

Pour your almond milk into another bowl

Coat your tofu finger in the corn flour mix

Then coat your tofu finger in the milk

The again in the corn flour and again in the milk

Coat in nuts of your choice. You can use chopped roasted hazelnuts, sliced pistachios or sliced/chopped almonds. You can also use rolled oats, ground flaxseed or breadcrumbs to coat your fingers

Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat

Place your tofu fingers in the pan and turn them every few seconds. They brown very quickly. This takes about 2mins

Serve with my Green-Nut butter sauce
