Homemade Pesto

We all know it’s easy to pop round to the shops and get yourself a jar of pesto, but there are just some things that store-bought sauces can’t do…

Homemade sauces: not only can you control what’s in them, you can also avoid unnecessary sugar & salt consumption. You can control how much of any ingredient goes into your sauce, so there are no surprises when it comes to a homemade sauce.

This versatile pesto goes perfectly with a variety of dishes, including pasta and courgetti. Sauces are such a great way of getting the veggies in and, for the picky eaters, hiding those veggies too! With this pesto you can get your spinach and basil into your diet in a delicious and easy way.

Recipes with my Spinach Pesto include my warm and nourishing Spinach Pesto Courgetti, and spread over my Sweet Potato Toast.
