A delicious bolognese recipe that’s suitable for vegans and vegetarians – this Vegan Bolognese recipe has the same texture as traditional bolognese and the tomato adds to making the sauce even more authentic. To get that delicious tomato taste, I used Mr Organic Italian Organic Chopped Tomatoes which also helped speed up the cooking process as the tomatoes were pre-chopped!
Give your vegan bolognese sauce that unmistakable bolognese texture by grinding your cauliflower and carrots in a food processor – these serve as a healthy veggie replacement for minced meat! Use whole wheat spaghetti for a healthier pasta dish. Whole wheat pasta is packed with all sorts of nutrients that have been stripped from or depleted in white pasta during its processing, such as protein, iron and fibre.
